wood duck or dyed tan mallard fibers work fantastically on this pattern. The original had them on it. I have no clue why they got lost on the way. Give it a go with them. You will notice a difference.

This a good tip, i suppose. But does it make sense? I mean your rubbing mud(visible) on to your fluorocarbon(supposed Invisible) to take away the shine. drab colors are good, because they make it harder for the fish to see you. khaki is a terrible color, very visible to the fish.

Barrett, You can get some great strength in you peacock by using a dubbing loop. Its very easy to do and takes seconds. Then your peacock is practicably invisible!

@door2yourheart I use Clorox and i dilute it with water. I dip and swirl for 5-10 seconds and then remove and Dunk Them in cold water with baking soda mixed in. I have been doing this for a long time and no i have not erased the dark band.

@bluetoad2001 dye that moose black and tie up some midges with it, wrap it as a body. They kick ass.
