1 key question. I LOVE to abuse swords (which is why I have 3 Cold steel matchetes)

SO, will this sword stand up to abuse or will it take a bend set?

so what killed sieges, or do they still take place? if they are in fact dead, when was the last one?

how much does it way, because im aware of historical examples that are at least twice as long as that, but im not sure about the sheer mass.

so heres how i figure it, the pikemen must have been sort of like big spike traps, forcing cavalrymen to try their luck and attack them, possibly by using artillery fire.

im not sure about this, but i would imagine that swords of this type would actually be nearly loose in the scabbards so as they could be drawn without the second hand and so that it wouldnt have to be in any awquard positions, but i cannot figure out how they kept the sheathe fromg flopping aroun...

@ketsan you would be surprised actually there are draw cuts with some european swords, particularily with basket hilted broadswords and sabers, but you are correct in that it is not the case with a rapier, there is no real way to do a draw cut. unfortunatelly though, you are mistaken, the sword t...

if your trying to impress somebody with the power of a cutting weapon, a wattermellon is absolutely the worst target you could find. i am completely untrained, and ive made similar cuts with an extremely dull cheap machete.

hmm.... not bad, but im really curious as to what it could really stand up to, and milk jugs dont impress me in the least, but its good to know that its actually sharp and rigid.

BUT i would really like to see some tests with this blade on slightly..... harder targets.

mk so first of all, iether learn to use the sword that you bought or sharpen the hell out of it.

sorry dude, milk jugs arent impressive to me in the least, and in fact thier my favorite cutting target bucause thier so easy to cut.do this with something a little more solid like say, gatorade bottles, and ill be muuuch more impressed.
