I'm not aware of any modern day composers of baroque classical music (like Bach). Not saying that there aren't any. I'm just not too familiar because I have such an odd taste in music that I largely ignored music until just a few years ago. I do like Nobuo Uematsu (look up Tour of Japan) and Yasunori Mitsuda (look up kiRite, Scars of Time). These are both Japanese video game composers. Japan seems to take music in games more seriously than other countries. I also like a lot of American movie composers like John Williams, Klaus Badelt, Danny Elfman. All of these are sort of similar to romantic classical music. But none of these are like Bach.
