oh gee, the fast hi hats on drums as the first verse is sung are very much missing, and I think he changed the chords in the keyboard intro right before the verse... BUT WHERE THE HECK IS THE EPIC KEYBOARD SOLO???

I think I prefer Joe Crabtree because his sound fits the sound better and he is more diverse, but this drummer did a sick job; he really felt the song this night.

@JamesSCameron it's not missing in reality, only on this video for some reason. I own both PULSE cd and dvd, and it is not missing. and yes I also own the VHS tape and it wasn't missing either. My guess is the video compression. check out other versions of this on youtube and you will hear it.

Vai adapts to suit the song in his solo, surprisingly enough (didn't Zappa use to challenge him to see if there was anything he could NOT play?), but Satriani doesn't, really.
