Melanin in-tunes living things with nature and the universe. It is what gives animals, plants and fruits their color. It is made up primarily of carbon, which is essential for life to exist. A lack of melanin means death. Although Caucasians are melanin recessive, they still have the minimal amounts that keep them alive, help them see and color their hair. The darker the skin, eyes and hair, the more the melanin, and hence carbon, signifying a higher potential for a fuller life in-tuned with the universe.
