About Me:
Young Lyrikz whose real name is Robert ; a 12year old west-side born Baltimore native, upcoming free- stylist, rapper and composer; awaiting his chance to be the next discovered young prodigy in Baltimore, Maryland. Rapping is not a hobby, its a passion! Dancing isnt my thing, I might just do a one-two step, but my flow for a kid is nice and I like that about myself says Young Lyrikz. Young Lyrikz, has been attracted to all sorts of entertainment since he was a preschooler. Unlike most young boys, whom favor being a famous football or basketball player as a dream goal; Young Lyrikz passion is music. Driven by confidence, education and motivation; Young Lyrikz began to write at the age of six, just doodling not sure what it was he wanted to say. Then one day, the lights came on says Young Lyrikz referring to the automatic flow of words that immediately surfaced in his mind after he heard his first beat. Free styling has been YLs approach into the rap industry every since. Young Lyrikz is known for rap battling, but not just the battle itself, but the fact that mostly all of his opponents are much older than he is, giving him an advantage over his peers. In June 2008, Young Lyrikz was bought to East Madison Street in Baltimore City to stay with family members, while he, his mother and his sister, got back on their feet. Outside on the front steps free-styling, one day; an organization by the name of Safe Streets noticed him and asked if hed like to participate in a community video shoot. The relationship between Young Lyrikz and the Safe Streets of Baltimore formed from then on. Now, a regular volunteer of the Safe Streets of Baltimore, Young Lyrikz, participates and performs in all the community awareness functions, and stop the shooting responses. He has been awarded a certificate from the Baltimore City Health Department for his dedication to the Safe Streets of Baltimore, and for the tone that hes set for other kids, encouraging them that its okay to participate within your community. Striving to be elite; Young Lyrikz focuses on getting good grades, working on his talent, and helping to stop the violence in the community. Young Lyrikz states that his ability is his best quality, indicating that he believes that hes destined to be whatever it is he wants to be, and for now thats a rapper!SUBCRIBE
