BIOGRAPHY As far as I can remember I've had a love affair with music. From online text battles to freestyling with friend's outside of school. I would wake up music, go to sleep music, and live music. Not just one genre, but all genre's of music caught my heart. Creating a star doesn't alway's come from a rough life or something that has happened in your past. Just what you make of it today. Never then would I have thought to become the young up and coming star I am today.
THE BEGINNING
Paying Dues Aint' EASY!!!! I was first brought sought out by a record label in Winnipeg, Manitoba which had heard my radio hit 'Everybody In The Club' in which they wished to have it re-recorded at their studio and mastered by them. They saw great potential in me and helped me really push me into the path of recording my music. At that point in time I was stuck on making music at the studio and getting my music to local dj's and radio station's for play. Eventually my name blew up throughout the city and I was getting gig's and making contact's with all local promoter's and the media. Getting lot's of major gig's in my city started to feel great. But with the fame and good life, also come's the struggle.
THE STRUGGLE
Definitly Alot Of Struggle As every artist will learn in their career. When you make a name for yourself you make yourself visible to the good and evil's in this world. This shine I brought in my city also brought 'Hater's' to my door. From turning media acheivment's around to getting show's shut down by calling in death threat's to the local promoter's. Some of these people, as I would learn in my life, would really envy and try to discourage anyone accomplishing something in life. At this point in my life, I'd question if I could really deal with all this for my whole career. Could I really be making people that don't even know me this angry? Could I really not be making an impact in the music industry? What have I done? Shaking this off, I knew in my head the real reason I started getting these type's of influence's. This cannot hold me back. No. This will not hold me back. After death threat's have shut down one of my local show's the new's paper's, media station's, magazine's, and other promoter's all wanted a peice of Young Juve!
THE PATH I CHOSE Dropping out of highschool at a young age was not the wisest choice but it was the choice I thought was right. I knew if I where to get my foot into the music industry I would have to give it my all, my 110%. So I put my trust in all my hard working's and hoped that it would pay off for me in the end. One thing most artist's that wan't to make a name for theirselve's don't know is that the music industry isn't just a game, something you do because everyone else is doing it, for car's, money, and clothes, although it is nice. This life is a consistant grind. You have to push to the limit, and after that, you push even further! For me, I love the pushing, and struggling to get my name out there. Cause I know every little demo tape, every little show, every music play, will eventually pay out for me in the end. If you where to ask me my favorite aspect I would reply by saying everything! The constant promoting, writting, producing, engineering, everything! I wake up Hip Hop, I live Hip Hop, and go to bed Hip Hop..I am Hip Hop!
ONE MAN ARMY This would have to be the most intense and exhilirating experience of my career. Everyday experimenting with different recording technique's, different promotional technique's, researching and expanding my vocabulary. I would have to say I have came a long way from when I first started my career. From producing, to engineering, to booking, to promoting, to marketing, to hip hop artist, I would have to say I'm a One Man Army on my own. What am I waiting for then? The big break! Every artist can make a buzz for theirself but it's almost impossible to be really get out there for the world to see you on your own without the backing of a good label. Just being from Canada can throw a person off into thinking their's no talent in a Canadian artist. But I'm ready to help other Canadian artist's show the world that there really is talent out here. I'm not jumping at every oppertunity that is thrown to me or else I would have been signed with an indie label a long time ago that probably wouldn't of went anywhere. I'm waiting for that right label, that right oppertunity, that right sign. I'm making sure that when I do present myself to the world, I'm backed by one of the strongest label's in world, and we'll show everyone what young talent from Canada really has to offer...Continued on Myspace page
