Fantastic TV concert. The BBC left this in their vaults for years, got it out in early 90s and have been showing it occasionally ever since. There is also a Joni Mitchell one in the same series in which she is previewing material that was to show up on Blue.

Prof. Cox was doing a Q&A with fellow boffins on Sky at Night last month and received a less than enthusiastic handshake from Brian May.

This is very reminiscent of the Oliver Postgate animations of my childhood which always had a quirkiness and warmth that dunderhead American children cartoons lacked (no offence to Tex Avery though).

Utter delight when this was broadcast. No warning Cook was going to come on and just talk brilliant hilarious shite for an hour. Cook’s doing his best to corpse Anderson who later admitted it was painful trying to keep a straight face.

I was thinking the same, I used to like his programmes he had good insight, but he is way off the mark this week. It only seems to be him, the EDL and Nick Griffin who thinks these yobs looting is a black problem.
