Chill man its fine this way trust me. If you use beam scan + laser guided and finish up with your main gun you always get the kill or at least disable the vehicle anyway in just one pass. I know in rush the bombers are slower so its easier to get kills.

Well I use beam scan, flares and guided missile and I do fine. I just hear for enemy jets (no need for the radar). I find that using the guided missile you can spot better and even spot infantry. And with beam scan and some cannon fire I can disable a vehicle or kill it on one pass.
