I think its a timeless tune. It sounds as if it might have been written yesterday or all the way back to the 1920s. I also think Mamma Cass had one of the loveliest voices in entertainment.

I think Chaz is most accurate, I can get the exact same voice as Axl's depending on how hard I accidently step on my cat's tail. So he wrote a few good tunes, basically now he's a has-been surviving on past fame and public domain standards.

In my opinion, he doesn't have the greatest singing voice, but it comes off as that much more sincere and heartfelt. Thats what make his tunes so great. He sure can write a great tune.
