It lost the suspension from our reality when Trip survived the initial blast, but hey, It's a space opera.

@CJLinton - you're over generalizing. By Late 43, it's design/airframe was out of date to modern designs on all sides. Early, it had the same (justifiable) reputation as a Tiger tank.

This looks much too dangerous for the riders. You need to have a closed circuit with various marshalls, officials and medical personel staffed and ready for this to be safe and enjoyable.
