********************************************** Somebody That I Used To Know lyrics
Now and then I think of when we were together Like when you said you felt so happy you could die Told myself that you were right for me But felt so lonely in your company But that was love and it's an ache I still remember
You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness Like resignation to the end Always the end So when we found that we could not make sense Well you said that we would still be friends But I'll admit that I was glad that it was over
But you didn't have to cut me off Make out like it never happened And that we were nothing And I don't even need your love But you treat me like a stranger And that feels so rough You didn't have to stoop so low Have your friends collect your records And then change your number I guess that I don't need that though Now you're just somebody that I used to know
Now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over But had me believing it was always something that I'd done And I don't wanna live that way Reading into every word you say You said that you could let it go And I wouldn't catch you hung up on somebody that you used to know...
But you didn't have to cut me off Make out like it never happened And that we were nothing And I don't even need your love But you treat me like a stranger And that feels so rough You didn't have to stoop so low Have your friends collect your records And then change your number I guess that I don't need that though Now you're just somebody that I used to know
I used to know That I used to know

Time to shred on a sled. A day so perfect, the snow so right, the runs so epic...ok maybe just semi-epic but still cool. Another Nutnfancy Adventure with friends, family, and dogness. Here I bring you to my favorite place in the whole world for sledding and tubing, nestled in a pristine basin next to a mountain lake. In past years when the lake is frozen, we do runs all the way out to it, skidding out across the ice. With deeper powder, that couldn't happen today. But a good snowfall the night before beckoned us and many others up here today. Kev and his son Griff, my son, and Allie the Mountain Dog (recuperated from double knee surgery it seems!) hike into this basin and we get to work. We meet cool people and have some cool times. From running the wicked fast Rubbermaid sled down the steep slope (there is no spoon!), to watching some fun wipeouts, and semi-epic runs, this was a good time. Somewhere along the way I smashed my chin into my knees during a jump. No permanent damage incurred.////////////////Music: Syndicate (Flux Pavilion Remix) @ http://soundcloud.com

Inside look in the friendship and long range precision bolt gun shooting. We take some more long 600 yard shots in Part 2 of "Point Break" after lots more hiking (and running at times). The terrain and location of the targets determined the range. The guns are a Remington 700 .300WM action in AICS, Remington 700 .308 SPS, and Remington 700P .300WM. The realities of carrying heavy loads, gear interferences, ranging, marksmanship principles, load development, exterior ballistics, and being in shape all come home again in this Nutnfancy adventure. A couple of impromptu engagements with our Walther PPQ and Glock 19 pistols find their way into my scenario here. Humor of course is part of the mix and you will see the crew member interaction between Bugget and I that's held our friendship together for over 16 years. The majesty of this high desert area comes alive when we are favored by an amazing sunset as we hike into higher, more rugged terrain.
