I remember either Father Elijah or Dean say that the beartraps were put around by the previous treasure hunters lured in, because they turned against eachother. While the Ghost People might have been able to rearm them, I still think DSP just happened to walk on routes he didn't take before.

It's funny how all firefights in this game has constant yelling and screaming. The game is fun, but I wish the devs would have worked on some textures more, some of them seem to be horribly low-resolution, like the character outfits.
