FACT: 173 cildren were killed in the troubles, 153 of these were by british forces:FACT
Findings of the official Cain report: under 31% of the IRA's kills were civilains (this 31% includes prison guards, royal family, politians etc) , 60% of brit army kills were innocent and 85.9% of loyalist kills were civilains, the UVF also killed 4 years before the IRA remerged in 1969. The loyalist terrorist only managed to kill 53 Republican activists out of their over 1000 kills. They actually killed more of their own loyalists. The IRA killed 735 brit soldiers, over 300 RUC (defeated), in total over 1300 security forces died. Around 150 loyalist paramiltaries (terrorists) died who admitted they targeted innocent Catholics.
400 Republicans (250 provo soldiers) were killed, may they RIP, as well as all civilains killed.
350 people were arrested on the first day of interment in 1971, 99% of these were Catholics even tough Catholics only made up 35% of the State's popualtion. An estimated 15% of the brit UDR soldiers, were members of loyalist death squads. Loyalist mUrDeRers.
The Brit government also had the worst amnesty for human rights in Europe.
