About Me:
 
*KAL* (aka Kalorin Nemayothin) is an American-Thai born songtress. Born and raised in the valley of California (Woodland Hills), Kal fell in love with music as a little girl growing up. Growing up in a broken home, music was always her way out in sorting her next move. From sing along songs from Walt Disney to being influenced by Mariah Carey, Kal became even more inspired to become a singer. About a couple years back, in 2003, Kal had a visit to Thailand with her family to explore the other side of her culture. Whilst there, her grandmama decided to take her in for an audition at GMM GRAMMY. Not knowing where it'd take her, she convincingly enthralled them with her bubbly character and unique style in singing, which was non like other singers in Thailand. She was accepted into the label in no time. November 23, 2005, Kal released her first solo album, "KAL". Two singles, "Months", which was in english written by the fellow songtress, and "Jai Cha Cha", the Thai version of the song. The songbird was then known for her new sound and contemporary style in music. Shortly after touring, she then joined many other projects with great credential producer such as Narongvit. In August 26, 2006, Kal was also seen in his project with Da Endorphine, B Crescendo, Mos Patipan, Pup Potatoe and many other artist in a compilation album called "Sleepless Society II" which followed by another compilation album, "Bossa Blossom". Her latest project that Kal was feature in, also, is "Triple Flavor". Consisting of 3 members, Nara, Gemma and Kal. They came out with a hit single called "Raiy Jing Jing", again, written by Kal. Not only does Kal sing, she also composes and writes her own lyrics and melodies. She's written a song for the biggest pop duo, Golf & Mike, called "Bounce", which was their first opening single in 2005. "Bounce" launched Golf and Mike's career across Thailand and then internationally throughout Japan. Her latest work was with the pop singer, "Ice Sarunyu", whose comeback song in 2007 called "Ya Len Tua". It was his biggest comeback since his first single. Kal is now working on her second solo album which will be released no later than the end of 2007. You can already have a sneak preview with the 2 songs that are under 'unreleased' in this profile.
