Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Shifu said: "Outside these mountains are other mountains..." meaning: Young man, don't be arrogant and proud, there will always be someone who is stronger, faster, better in Kung Fu than you.

Another thing said was "...always respect your teacher, even if you surpass him/her in skill, if it wasn't for your teacher, then you wouldn't have acquired the skills you have today."
