I gave in to watching this series because my husband said that he fell in love with the leading lady,choi ji-woo. I needed to see for myself how charming this gal is. Well, s he sure is oh, so beautiful and I even went to bed remembering her face! However, I must say that with this Korean serial (I've watched other Korean soapies like Autumn in my Heart, Winter Sonata), I think I'm going to stop watching Korean love stories. They are so cruel, so sadistic and leave a viewer with a sense that love stories never have good ending. I'm beginning to think: Are the love stories of Koreans all so tragic? It's all well that I cried buckets through some episodes but please, give me a break. Give me a happy ending. Don't we all believe, or at least would like to believe, in miracles?
