My puny Datsun (350z) have similar CRAZY launch control every morning, whenever I'm rushing to work. It has nothing to do with the electronics, the craziness seems to initiate from between the steering wheel and the bench. It must be the clutch, which I recently discovered!

Just use the ESP, which - here in Finland - means Engage Sandbag Procedure. Do this by throwing a couple of sandbags in your trunk and you'll be just fine with RWD on snow and ice.
