Yellow Peril is the JUNK POP band from Tokyo Japan. We try to slough off a unified and formatted music which is built by '90s giant music industry. ハプニング的でサーカスのピエロ、道化師等に近い世界観を音楽とパフォーマンスで表現するJUNK POP Band。まるでボーカリストが３人いるかのような強い個性のぶつかり合いによって成り立っていて、絶妙なバランスで独特の世界観を作り出す。毎回何が起こるかわからないライブパフォーマンスも魅力の一つで、缶や積み木、風船やトイピアノなどたくさんの小道具が登場する。2007年にはついに演奏中に食事をする。画一化、フォーマット化されてしまった音楽からの脱却をはかり、価値のないものに価値を見いだすところを出発点とする。2008年6月にはアメリカ西海岸へツアーを組み、多くのアメリカ人にJunk Popを伝える。現在都内で活動中であるが、ライブハウスよりも、ギャラリーやカフェ、劇場や路上を選んで活動している。2009年の合い言葉は "Yes, We are Can!"。
