Few days ago there was a Hubei Shishou City protest involving thousands of Chinese protesters attacking the riot police, follow by the Guangdong Shaoguan City toy factory ethnic conflict between Han Chinese and Uyghurs, last year there was the Lhasa protest where Tibetan protest against Chinese rule, then the Gansu unrest, Shanwei unrest, Yingde unrest, all of which are Chinese peasants protesting against the Chinese local government, these incidents occur in China every month, yet the Chinese media dont talk about it much, except the Lhasa and Urumqi protest, which they called "splittist activities by the minority people with ulterior motive, attempt to dis-unify the motherland" and all kind of propaganda talk. LOT OF LAUGH, so this is the achievement of their attempt to create a "harmonious society"?? Looks like there still a LONG way to go before they create a "harmonious society" with their so called "Socialism with Chinese characteristic"

Uyghur unrest in Urumqi, July 5th 2009, there's been report that the protest was response to the Uyghur ethnics killed in an ethnic unrest in Guangdong Shaoguan toy factory. The unrest was reported with more than ten thousand Uyghurs took to the street and attack pedestrians and police
