@livinginthepast3 Dead simple - first six notes of a major scale, in this case G-E. Others use pentatonic tuning. The strings are actually nylon guitar strings - 2 d; 2 g; 2 e. I found gut strings unsuitable for my use (too temperamental and too easy to break, to say nothing of the expense).
