Yarra Trams operates the tram network in Melbourne, Australia under a franchise agreement with the State of Victoria. Yarra Trams is proudly operated by KDR Victoria (Keolis Downer EDI). The KDR partnership draws on KDR's local and international experience, history and expertise in tram operations, network development and maintenance. Keolis is an internationally recognised public transport solution provider, and Downer EDI is Australia's longest operating rail company with over 100 years experience in rolling stock. With a fleet of around 500 trams, Yarra Trams operates 27 major routes plus the free City Circle tourist tram.
