Yaro Promotes A Sound That Pays Homage To His Colombian Roots Los Angeles/New York City/- While Yaros production catalogue spans popular, urban, world and R&B music, his talent is infusing African drum and Afro Latin chants and giving modern music a worldly texture and depth beyond a single genre.

Ive worked with many different artists and love to find those excited about new and different sounds. We tend to feed off each others creative energy and something good always emerges, thats the power of music. My goal is to work with M.I.A., Calle 13, Akon and of course El Gran Combo, says Yaro.

Yaro has produced for artists such as Billboard Top Ten group T-Weaponz, DUB and Machete/Universal Music artist Ese Daz, La Bruja, Alvare, Tragedy Khadafy, Inti, YG, and Nardo Ranks.

The son of Nhorma Ortiz, a Musicologist and founder/producer of the Internationally renowned Festival del Tambor y Africania, Yaros colorful upbringing has always included music: his youth stretched from Bogotá, Colombia and Mexico, to his late adolescence in rural America and some time in Europe.
