Here is a short video I made for Bomuldsfabriken Kunsthall in Arendal, Norway. It is a tour through parts of the permanent, contemporary collection at the art gallery.
The idea was to make a visual representation of how art communicates with the viewers emotions, and it was very inspiring to animate other artists work.

The music was sampled from a piece by Ingebrigt Håker Flaten & Håkon Kornstad and remixed by me.
The video was filmed by hand with a digital SLR camera and animated with Photoshop and After Effects.

Los protagonistas son Tadashi y Kaori, una pareja que viaja hasta Okinawa, que buceando cerca de un viejo destructor de guerra hundido ven una extraña criatura. Al volver a la casa, comienzan a oler un olor terrible, y descubren un extraño pez con patas metalicas. Ese pez será el primero de una auténtica invasión de animales marinos con patas metálicas.Unos misteriosos peces con piermas aparecen al sur de Japón, en Okinawa, y eso conlleva un horrible cambio en toda la vida animal de la zona. Tadashi y su novia Kaori se ven atrapados en la isla y con un destino todavía peor que la misma muerte.
Esta animación del estudio Ufotable tiene como director a Takayuki Hirao (Garden of Sinners, Futakoi Alternative), y cuenta diseños de Takuro Takahashi.
Hay que recordar que hay otra adaptación de Junji Ito a punto de estrenarse, la enésima versión de "Tomie" en el live action que dirige Noboru Iguchi, "Tomie unlimited".
