David had a GMC vehicle donated to him in the hopes that he will one days be able to drive again. In the midst of this donation David became friends with 'Motorhead Messiah' Jonathan Goodwin of H-line Conversions inc. based in Wichita, KS- (Jonathan converted Neil Young's 1959 Lincoln to get 100MPG in which Neil Young's quadriplegic son enjoys riding). David and Jonathan have since been working on converting the GMC for Dave to drive as well as making plans to make it 100% accessible for David.(the GMC is one of the few vehicles to accommodate a 6' 2" quadriplegic in a wheelchair) This GMC will be the first of it's kind making driving not only efficient and equipped for David, but it will give him the freedom once took for granted and misses so much. Dave's GMC will tour with Neil Young this coming spring 2009' to share green technology and inform the world of the potential benefits for disabled individuals. Letterman will feature Neil and his 59' Link volt in arly Feb and both vehicles will appear in Washington DC in front of Obama and congress the following week.

Although ambitious, funding is greatly needed, as David is still in recovery at project walk in Carlsbad, CA. David is also due for a critical cervical spine surgery this spring in San Diego.
