@dannycsn Any hdmi cable will be fine (even the £2 leads) there is no such thing as a high speed hdmi or 3D hdmi lead etc. If you are getting a noise free image from a hdmi lead then that is the best you can get. HDMI leads either work or they don't so a £70 lead will hold no advantage over a £2 ...

Viewed it out of sheer disbelief now regretting it......don't watch it. The one thing i don't get is that the cat/kitten doesn't look right, it looks sedated? Not saying that makes it right. Disgusting, i am not a cat owner or lover but that is not right at all.

@WillT23 The E3B uses an IPS-Alpha panel in the 32 and 37inch version and is full hd the 42inch version is still full hd but uses an LG AS-IPS panel. ; )

@jables13 Agree with you, although with plasma you have other issues, so its not 100% cut and dry. In my front room 50inch is too big so i can only go panasonic for a full hd plasma under 50inch, but the flicker hurts my eyes and im sensitive to phosper trails. @anil2 Are you kidding chose a tv riddled with edge bleed, clouding, banding, bad uniformity, motion blur, terrible viewing angles, yeh make the smart choice. The Samsung D8000 is over priced and pure design over substance.

@cheesehead9099 It doesn't enhance anything adding the yellow just makes the picture deviate from the standards set by directors. It takes a lot of effort for calibrators to fix the damage the extra yellow does to the picture. You cant judge tvs in a store environment, maybe the sharp did look be...

@Gilbertskater18 Sony don't make 47inch, it will be 46inch VA panel as thats what Sony use, LG use 47inch IPS panels.

Oled is years off from affordability, i believe LG are bringing out a 31inch oled next year, probably be around the £6000 mark. Based on the fact the 15inch was going for £2000+.
