The Untitled Magazine features original productions of video art, fashion films and documentary shorts as well as international runway and contemporary art coverage.
About Me:
XXXX Magazine, launched in 2009 by Indira Cesarine, is a multimedia publication showcasing original productions of video art, fashion films and documentary shorts by a wide array of international contributing artists and directors. A new series of more than 30 video art and fashion film productions is produced for each bi-annual issue revolving around a specific theme. Recent issues include the "Kaleidoscopic", "Surreal", "Voyeur" issues.
Aside from the "virtual" online magazine, iPad site and print edition, XXXX Magazine showcases the work of contributors in special events, installations, screenings, exhibits and spontaneous "happenings" on a regular basis in cites including New York, Paris and London. Recent exhibits include "Facets of Figuration" at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, September 2011; The "Voyeur Exhibit" at Art Basel Miami 2010, sponsored by The American Friends of the Louvre, Miami Art Museum and Quintessentially. The films from the Surreal issue premiered at the "Soiree Au Louvre" Benefit for the Louvre Museum at the French Embassy Cultural Center in New York in June, 2010. Visionairs Gallery in Paris presented "Carte Blanche" from January 28- February 11th, 2010, featuring productions from the Kaleidoscopic issue. Other recent events this year include a Paris fashion week video installation at Matignon, "Face Off / Dance Off" at Norwood Arts Club, New York and the "Factory Project" exhibit in London. XXXX Magazine movies can also be viewed on the Big Screen Plaza video art billboard in Chelsea, Manhattan from July -- December 2011.

Exclusive coverage of contemporary art exhibits, international fashion weeks and events is updated regularly on XXXX, the XXXX Magazine Blog. The blog also presents fashion and beauty editorial, recent news from our contributors, behind the scenes reportage and multimedia articles on emerging & established artists. What does XXXX stand for? There are several meanings behind the name...
XXXX is commonly used as a placeholder -- so you can later "fill in the blank", signifying that it can mean "Anything" and thus is the ultimate symbol for "creative freedom". "X" in mathematical terms means "multiply"; if you think about "multimedia" it stands for the multiplication of various medias, exponentially creating a progressive result in their unique combination. XXXX Magazine is about promoting collaboration between artists, multiplying the talents of one artist with the other to create new and exciting work beyond what one is capable of creating on their own. And lastly "X" stands for "kisses" as we sign off ....
