So I assume you saw my title? Good.
Now let me just tell you a story:
When I started CP all the way back in 2008, a lot of my friends played it. We used to talk at school about the latest catalog, and send each other postcards.
But over time, they started to grow bored of it.
Long story short, after a while I was the only one left. The One Who Plays Club Penguin.
Now, this wasn't such a deal when I was 11 years old because I was in my last year of primary school.
But in Year 7, that all changed.
I was suddenly among the youngest in the school, in a place far from home (considering that my primary school was a 2 minute drive from my house). The only people I knew were either in a few years above, or as with my friends they were in a different house.
I was alone in my form with people I had never seen before in my life, and it was scary.
But I adjusted to the change pretty quickly.
Everyone got into their groups, some more noisy than others.
But I was oblivious to this, until I realized how every lesson I would be sitting by myself.
Pair work was normally done by myself, and the teachers didn't seem to care.
So I was ok.
Despite the fact I still had no friends, and it was now January 2010, 4 months after I started.
It came to my birthday, and I got some attention.
Some.
The noisy people would have small parties at lunch thrown for them. I would sit my myself with a few people shouting HAPPY BIRTHDAY across the hall.
Like they really gave a shit.
Anyway, it started to get bad. People would pick on me for the most trivial reasons. It would mainly be something about Facebook or whatever.
But it got worse. People started to give me dirty looks in the corridors, and some resorted to stealing my things and trying to trip me over.
I told my mum, and we went in to talk to teachers about it. I fought back the tears - just.
ANYWAY
Needless to say, my mum asked if I wanted to change schools. But for some stupid reason, I said - wait and see what Year 8 is like.
To summarize, Year 7 was the worst year of my life.
And I think part of it was down to CP.
I would post about it on the school forums: 'OMG I SAW A BETTAAAA' and the kind.
I assume people read this, and took me as a 12 year old who plays a kid's game. And judged me on that.
Now, I am 13 years old and almost at the end of Year 8. It's been a marginal improvement since Year 7, noticing how I have played/made videos less and less throughout the year. I've made friends and tend to make the class laugh alot.
My grades have improved and my teachers like me more.
Now, I'm sure there are more underlying reasons, but I think cutting down on virtual penguins was the main one.
And that is why I have come to my conclusion to quit Club Penguin.
I will cancel my membership at the end of the month. £3.95 for some pixels on a screen? No thanks, not anymore.
This also means that I am quitting videos.
My last projects will be the Somewhere in Brooklyn collab, and MAYBE a final full CPMV.
MAYBE.
I need to find a song that's appropiate, and I want to make sure I give you all a time-travelling experience from my humble beginning to 650+ subs.

And to you, the viewer and subscriber. Just watching a video's view count go up by one makes me smile.
But the views pale into insignificance when I look back at all the supportive comments. You all got in a boat and rowed your asses off to save MY ass when I jumped off the bridge, if that makes sense. xD
But seriously, you cannot fathom the immensity of thanks.
It was fun while it lasted.
I might be back one day. Not on Club Penguin though. I aspire to be a journalist or something similar, and as soon as I'm old enough I'm gonna blow my money on Bruno Mars concerts/M&Gs...if you catch my drift ;D
I'll come back on YouTube to see how my friends are getting on and to reply to any queries.

Lauren and Geoff. Your videos blow my mind out of my ears, I'm not even joking. You guys are really cute together, and I wish you all the best.

Snowie. You've quit now, and you're probably not gonna see this. But you were one of my closest online friends, almost the sister I never had. You went through a lot with your account being suspended, but you tried again. And I respect you for that. Thank you.

Spice. You've also pretty much quit, we see each other on xat sometimes. I honestly don't know how to put this. You're funny, gifted, have awesome hair and are just the definition of AMAZING, don't let anybody make you believe otherwise. See you round.

Cookie, if you're reading this then I just want you to know how much you've meant to me over the years. Helping out with my videos, and just helping out in general. Huge ass hugs coming your way from England, they'll arrive any second now. I'll miss you.

I don't really think there's any more to write. This decision has been a tough one, and I don't want to mindfuck myself over it.
