Hello Brad: It is good you worship Jesus and do ask Him for "Truth" every day. It really isn't that complicated, but people try to make it that way. From the Birth of Jesus to His Death on the Cross, it has been recorded. The Bible came 200 years after the death of Christ, due to the fact so many Christians were martyred for the faith, as the pagan religion of the Romans was the enforced religion of those ages. Their blood made the faith even stronger. Please, if you can, look for a Latin Vulgate Bible, or a Douay Rheims Bible, which has all of the books which are necessary to understand scripture. I would also advise you to look for a Haydock Notes Douay Rheims Bible. Also, there is a WFTS Internet Radio station which explains Traditional Catholicism. It would be well worth it to listen once in awhile. Keep the Faith!
