My point is that he makes it sound like it's really hard to manually change a gear at 180 mph. No doubt in some respects the older cars were more difficult to drive, but it's apples to oranges. You have to be much more precise in a modern car, as there can only be 2 seconds a lap cover...

120 percent rule basically says that when you are on the circuit in qualifying, your slowest lap cannot be 120 percent of your fastest. This was to prevent people from cruising back to the pits and dangerously or unfairly blocking other drivers on hot laps. As far as the Bi-point thing...
