In Canada its March Break right now, so we have the week off school. We're at our Grandparents house in the city. We live about an hour outside the city.

Well, I guess we'll just find males then XD. Combee is still an awesome shiny. If one of us finds a female, I will seriously flip out. But I think Willow's taken all the lucky gender stuff, so we'll probably be stuck with our male combees. Are you going to seriously start the hunt right now, because I don't want to start if you haven't.

That's great, I was looking there for a while, but stopped. I should pick up that hunt again. Just one bit of advice if you are going to look there. Do not use a cute charmer. I'm not sure if you know about this yet but it has recently been discovered that using a cute charmer in 4th gen increases the odds to approximately 1/24000. I know how weird it sounds but it is absolutely true. Watch this ( ! /watch?v=j4IBhjIl2tI ) Its the one that says stop using cute charm in 4th gen. I don't understand all of it, but I do understand 1/24000. So just don't use a cute charmer. We could even race for it if you want. I've never raced anybody for a shiny, so it could be fun.

I've really grown to love headbutting. I think it might even be my favorite method of hunting. I just love how synchronized it is. You could always try headbutting at Mt. Silver. On some trees, Heracross has a 60% appearance rate, Aipom has a 30% appearance rate and Natu is 10%. If not, you could always go for Burmy, Tailow, Starly, or Cherubi. They all have a 35% appearance rate and appear on their respective trees with either Exeggcute or Wurmple, which are 65%.

Awesome. I used to like shiny chikorita alot, but then I found like three of them, and I really don't like them anymore. My first and only random shiny was Ponyta. Drifloon was almost random. I had only just discovered SRing and not 32 SRs later, along came shiny Floon

I already have a shiny heracross, my little papyrus. Willow's had her Ambipom for almost 3 years now. It was the first shiny she ever really hunted for. Mine was Poliwag in my SoulSilver. I've never even found a 3rd gen. shiny.
