My name is Rachel Dawes, I am a close Childhood friend of Bruce Wayne. My mother worked for Bruce's parents, me and Bruce would often play together on the grounds of Wayne Manor. After Bruce's parents were murdered by Joe Chill, My mother found another Job and left Wayne Manor with me. Me and Bruce remained close even after he fell in the batcave, but our friendship was never the same as it was. Bruce finally returned to the United States, many years later. It seemed that he had turned into a selfish playboy. However, we had to put our past disagreements behind us. I met and dated a guy named Harvey Dent, who became Gotham's new District Attorney. I was and still am his Assistant DA. However after meeting Bruce again, I knew all along that he was the one who I truly loved and I couldn't stand to be apart from him, he was after all my Childhood Sweetheart x

However, all that changed when Harvey and I were held hostage at an abandoned building, one of the Joker's schemes. Harvey was severely burned when the explosion set off, causing him to lose one side of his face. I luckily managed to escape. I returned to Gotham, after several months of training by Rhas Al Ghul. I learned that my mother was brutally murdered by an Ex Gang member of Falcone's. More furious and angrier than ever, I vowed that I would have my Justice. I have hunted down and captured several dangerous Criminals, giving back Justice to Gotham once again. I am Batwoman.
