Too right, you pay less purely because of the business structure of the airline and you get pilots that are by far some of the most highly trained and intensely monitored in the world. Darn you low-cost model, making Europe accessible to near enough everyone.

@Trotters80 Yeah, a decent crosswind makes it more challenging/fun but three or four in a day gets a little exhausting. The crosswind in this vid isn't too strong and no gusts so fairly standard.

Not much fun when the wind is coming over the terminal at manchester, makes the last 50ft really interesting.

@1man66 Bear in mind that using band scanners to listen to any frequency you don't have a right to use is illegal in the UK. Unfortunately it's not very well policed.
