You need to get rid of the sand unless you want your dragon to die. And no, despite popular belief, adult dragons cannot pass sand. My dragon was 6 years old when she died due to sand impaction in her lower intestine. Companies market bags of sand at pet stores because they want your money. There...

You need to change your substrate. Despite popular belief, sand kills bearded dragons. Mine actually passed away 3 weeks ago due to sand impaction in her lower intestine. Dragons lick everything.
