What do you think this noise is?

could be 3 things IMO
1.Track Bar(bushing worn) or Track Bar mount (loose)
2.Tie rod (bushings worn)
3.Front UPPER or LOWER control arms (bushings worn or loose)

as for the noise... it sounds like you drowned the jeep before... theres water in places its not suppose to be...
