My Runescape username was X Helchild X, but I have since quit.

I've been playing this game since 2001, but it's time for me to go now. I've had a great time, I met many great people, and I'm happy to have accomplished the goals that I set.

Many people have asked and will ask "Why am I quitting?", so I'll state my response here.

The game has changed too much for me; it's not the same game that I loved. I started playing in 2001 so I'm used to the old, but while I don't hate change, the direction that the game is taking is not one that suits me. I hadn't played since January and in the six months that I was gone, there was never an update that actually made me want to come back on and start playing - dungoneering included. I had already accomplished my goals, there was nothing that I still wanted to do, and so I thought I might as well leave now.

I'm sorry if the many guides that I released in the past week gave the impression that I was coming back. Before I had even released the guides I knew I was quitting, but I had promised certain people certain guides and so I had to get those done first.

If I've helped you in some way or another then I'm glad I could; and although I'm gone, I'll leave my videos up so you can still listen to the music.
