Being friends has little to do with this. Are you only civil with those you profit from?
I'm against racism too. That's why I think it's important enough to understand these issues so they can be effectively dealt with.
To the best of our knowledge, through a variety of official govt data sources, Denmark was forced to tighten its immigration policies. Are economic instability and loss of cultural identity never legitimate concerns? Did Kosovo's minority not became the majority, and dictate law?

So this is all about me assuming he's Muslim? His channel is labeled "In the Name of Allah", it's full of lectures on Islam with videos of people reciting the Quran, and his featured video is called "Proud to be Muslim".
Wherever we see groups that separate themselves from others, religious or non-religious, there's always a danger that divisiveness will arise. The man I responded to happens to be very divisive.
With divisiveness comes dehumanization, but this TV show is attempting the opposite.

Honestly, how many people criticizing this show have actually seen it? Any at all? You all seem to be describing some show that doesn't exist, even many of you who support it.
No one is being "judged". The women who appear aren't being critiqued nor shamed, and there's no competition involved.
You may be unfamiliar, or even uncomfortable, with nudity on display in a respectful and philosophical context, but your mischaracterizations of the show say a lot more about yourselves than anything else.

I'm not defending indiscriminate provocation or excusing questionable behavior on the grounds that it be effectual. I'm delineating the borders of this particular speaker's narrative by examining the evidence she's using to support her basic premise.
Like you, I'm just trying to figure out the true nature of the problem, so we can all effectively confront it together.
Not that I'm really anyone to judge, but personally, I find you to be much more logical and principled than this video's speaker.

What's with the competition for being the person with the least amount of humanity in this thread? At what age did you all lose yours?

Meanwhile, in the glass that's half full...
She does have a really good ear. She seems to be a very good judge of pitch. She's also got fierce determination, and a back-row popcorn-spilling scream if I've ever heard one. Amazing.
She just needs to work on her singing voice now.

It's always best to withhold final judgment to some extent until one can gather the facts of a given situation.
Just turn on the light - I'm sure you'll find there's no monster under your bed. :)

There's nothing inherently wrong about being conservative or liberal, XMan. Most of us have a little of both, you know.
The more important difference is between those who actually listen to others and care about logic, and those who don't.
Liberals and conservatives can all find common cause and rally against corruption in all of its manifestations, which includes fighting against those mischaracterizations and the miscommunication that too often exists between us.

Comedians make us laugh. Pop stars make us dance. Porn actors make us come.
If you feel soulless after laughing, dancing, or masturbating to one, maybe that says something about you, and not them.
Don't take that as an attack, I just think you might be projecting.

I believe MorPHziE is on a quest to find the reddest herring in the world.
Most of us know Tiger is mixed, but his skin is dark and hers light - what's this story about, if not appearances?
Sexual preferences are normal. I'm just uncomfortable that we're making a joke out of the fact that a person is dating someone with a different skin color.
Ana's opportunism and Irina's sexism don't thrill me either.
My view isn't the only valid one, and neither is yours, so how bout we set aside the insults?

I wanna ski there!
:)
Nice drawing and animation. Good job.

I really like Cenk. The fact that he seems to have such a skewed or limited understanding of socially progressive ideology is a mystery to me, though.
He's obviously a highly intelligent guy, but he may be selling himself short by trusting his own instincts so much that he occasionally ends up talking too much and listening too little.
-
Dave, I can't say that joke was your best... and neither was your judgment call in making it.
It almost seems like some people put more effort into writing their YouTube comments than you and Ana did with your lightweight analyses here.
Cenk is such a powerhouse with his political insights. Why is it that when it comes to social issues it seems so hard for you guys to step up your game a little?
-
Those are hilarious dude you're good at that

She was comparing the entire range of human sexuality with animals, not just homosexuality.
But yea, Ana set herself up for that one. Naturalness wasn't at issue.
Clearly what she finds objectionable is people casually associating homosexuality with something many people would consider to be a perversion. Like how it's common practice for homophobic bigots to add the term "homosexual" in lists that include "murderer" and "thief" (all of which occur naturally, along with criminal heterosexuals).

Yes, in America it is normal to carry a gun, and Marissa was licensed to.
It's good you care, but "reading the full report" won't help anyone see things your way if the crux of your argument is already based on ignorance.
At nearly 1 gun per person the USA owns more guns per resident than any other nation in the world. It's 1st on the list for guns per capita. By contrast, England is 88th, with roughly 1 gun being owned by 6 out of 100 residents.
It's not a gun control issue, it's about justice.
