The instrument of my resurrection was supposed to be freedom. But there isnt an open sky or endless field to be found where I reside, nor is there light or salvation to be discovered.
Right about now I feel as low as I ever have.
I dont think its a big secret why, really.
My biggest disappointment and downfall came from what was supposed to be the one thing to lift me from the grave Im continually digging for myself.
Nah, never. Only the worthy are saved, yknow.
I dont know, but what I do know is Im a retarded fuck for ever believing things would change for me. Im starting to regret sticking around, I shouldve taken the razor blade express last time around.
THE DEATH IN THE MIRROR
Standing in cold blood,
smiling, showing no mercy, looking into a reflection.
Death, hate, anger,
and yet,
Joyful lunacy, pure excitement
is what's being reflected.
Bloody hand on bloody blade
Showing no hesitation
is raised into the air to stab
deep into the flesh of its wielder.
Falling, eyes wide, a soft smile on
slightly parted lips.
Sliding into cold blood in front of a mirror,
last breaths escaping,
real eyes looking into those of a reflection's,
I watch myself die.
i write lots of poems but thats the only one ive ever shared with people so hopefully its good enough
i smoke, but only drink occasionally and im pretty much just an all-round nice person so gets tooh knoes mehh^^
