We are all aware of the reality and effects of crime and most of us have seen the show COPS. But what happens long after the crime has been committed and the time has been served? Unfortunately, seventy-five percent of ex-cons return to prison after their first offense. The reasons for this statistic are numerous, most commonly sited are lack of training opportunity, and the ex-cons desire to change. Thats where X con comes in! X con is about change, hope, and opportunity. Everyday a few ex-cons make the real decision to change; in their hearts, and in their minds. A decision to leave their past behind and make a better, honest and productive life for themselves.

Each season X con will take a small group of ex-cons and give them the chance to prove this new-found life change by giving them the opportunity to confront, and hopefully acquire, the necessary skills, and attitude, to secure a high paying job with a prominent employer. There will be hope, honesty and frustration, but in the end there will be a real chance at a new start, a chance to put the X in ex-con.

We anticipate the broadcast version of the show to run for several weeks while following this small group of eligible ex-cons who will strive for their jobs with on-air support coming from probation officers, police officers, professional athletes, and entertainment celebrities.

You will get to know each participants upbringing, families, community, struggles, and of course, how they were able to begin to make positive change in their lives.

The final show format will be determined once we have settled on a network to air the show.
