Go listen to Samuel Barber - Adagio for Strings and then try this one again. It's not too bad but.. it's not too good either in my opinion. Your strumming is too sporadic and unfortunately, takes away from the beauty of this piece. Again, not too bad but you could have done better I think.

@androohan That would be a synth. It's usually called the lead, used for the main melody of the song. You can also hear the bassline in the background of it. If you listen closely you can hear the buildup of the lead 0:12 - 0:30 which is needed to add suspense to the song, and then... CLIMAX.
