@BlizzagaLantean yeah no doubt....I usually kill as many enemies per level as I can to be good and powered up...but no doubt Kid Icarus is hard...it was hard when I was a wee lad of 6 or 7...and here it is I'm almost 32 and it's still quite tough.

@robto333 it's how many Metroids are left in the game...your goal in M2 was to hunt down and destroy every Metroid on the planet...

This looks fantastic....and Metroid Metal should do the soundtrack too! :-D

I remember saving 2000 Kool Aid pts for this back in 1989 ha ha ha....

These songs are what helped make the game creepy...well, for an 8 bit game that is!

M2 was actually kind of a scary game now that I think about it.....running along then *WHEEEE* metroid attacks....and the music is generally so soft until the attack that when it actually comes it startled me abit as a kid...here's to hoping M2 makes it to the Virtual Console...it should.

@10069MillefioreTime yup Sand Maze and Loose Keep it is....probably gonna be a 10 minute or so medly of all the tunes though....we'll see. :-D

@Lycanthrokeith it was a good Turtles rip-off though...granted the cartoon of Battletoads sucked horribly! The games however are classic.

@Harjawaldar yeah your's was sick! Even when I was like 9 or 10 when this game came out I was humming the tunes.

Dude you should seriously consider throwing a cd together...a couple of them....duplicate and sell those bad boys to 80's children that grew up listening to metal and playing these games such as myself...

@Juvonen88 actually the Ice Caverns is level 4 and the Snake pit is level 6 dude. :-) So you just have to brave the Turbo Tunnel to get here.

Damn the Saturn's version is worht getting for the music alone.
