I thought you had to break in the new cam, holding the engine at 2,000rpm for 20 minutes, or above 1,500rpm. That's what i did to mine, i built my 383 last year and im 17 now. I done a lot of reading and so skillz from vo tech. That's just a cerious question. Thank you
