CXI was envisioned in 2001 by music composer Troy G., a Southern Californian since the age of three, and musically involved since the fouth grade. Years later, his mature taste for jazz and R&B composition would be dramatically and forever directed toward Christian music. But it would not be fully realized until influenced by his joining the church ensemble group where he learned true worship and better vocal harmony. Still later, being introduced to the fantastic complexities of modern electronic music such as intelligent techno, breakbeat, and trance music by a gifted rhythm composer, the idea of exploring and blending this music with a Christian message, set the rest in motion.

xSUBn is pronounced (Ex-SUB-En). It represents an infinite number of unknowns, and life sure does offer up unknows on a silver platter. Our music is a collaboration of sounds, techniques, and a few people that sometimes twist a genre along with the mixer knobs. With game tracks you can go for subdued Down Tempos, pounding Technos, or cinematic scores, or head noddin' Breakbeats. It's a great area for lots of variety. We have painstakingly, personally tested each mix with dozens of video games and tons of low carb snack-food items most of which are made with Yellow#5 or something called nougat. (We like nougat, Nougat is L33t, Nougat is good.) We found that these tunes have added much to the gaming experience without drowning out audio gamecues, being too erratic, or becoming a monotonous repetition, we repeat...a monotonous repetition.
