I try to go beyond the surface because too often I find that relationships consist of only the good times, and selfish expectations, but what about our hopes, dreams, tears and heart ache? My time and my heart I give out to those who will continue to grow, who will give up the ways of the evil for the ways of the good, who realize that the things of this world will one day fade, and to the one who is willing to sacrifice. I will not waste my time on the two-faced, the hardhearted, the selfish, the unforgiving, the one who takes pleasure in the ways of the evil, the child who refuses to grow-up, the immature, and the one who is not willing to receive. I am not perfect, and have many times fallen short, but that will not keep me from working towards a better future. I have been broken hearted, and I know I will be again, because we all fall short and hurt the ones we love, but if we are willing to forgive it is during those times that our relationships can grow stronger.
