Kimimaro's Katana is known as
Hushino Sugoiarashi, It is said to have been passed down from Susanoo himself and his power and embodiment lives in the blade. The edges are seemed to never dull or show any forms of wear,tear or rust only sharpens and gets harder with each strike. On the blade are 6 kanji aswell representing the divine ring. Giving it an ability to be similar a sword for sealing.
Raiden is Kimimaro's tanto is his harakiri blade, not used for those exactly but it smells of blood and burned flesh when taken out.

Hushino Sugoiarashi - Storm control, acid, astral cord cutting, ionic,atomic of molecular separation, force multiplying, elemental and sub-elemental control,decay, sound, vibrations , speed enhancement, size alteration, magnetic manipulation and other secret techniques. Hushino has a a tradtional katana look. ( It has a black hilt from which two bells dangle on a very strong chain and a dark silver gaurd as it is a single blade of the average blade size and this is also a dark sliver but gleams crimson in the light with a traditonal japanese wave patter along the edge along with 6 small kanji from the base of the blade to about 3 inches up.)

Raiden - The same as above, but has a several special affinities to Lightning,Thunder,Sound,Light, and Water. ( Raiden is a tanto blade sheathed in a charred black wooden scabbard, The blades hilt matches the scabbard but the blade has a beautiful lightning strike design on it. )
