So, yay, this is my 300 sub special! I spent a lot of time on this (over 40 hours in like 6 days!) Tbh, I finished this much quicker than I thought. I suppose that's because it's kind of a slow video, but whatever. It was super fun to make, and I hope you guys enjoy it a lot. Also, it was my first time using FL Studio for audio! Not sure if it sounds any better than normal. Probably not. :3
To start, I had to make or edit almost every single GIF in this video. This took like 30 hours of the 40 hours. Huge thanks to Desktop Ponies for providing the base sprites! Both backgrounds were made using sprites from the game. I just placed them into Photoshop, and moved them around.
There's some things you may be wondering about this video :
"Why is she fighting Mare Do Well?", you might ask.
I would've had her fighting someone cooler like Nightmare Moon, but the simple fact is; animating Mare Do Well was so much easier than Nightmare Moon. I could use the base sprites from Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash to animate it easily. Also it was just my first idea, so I stuck with it! It doesn't make sense though, I know :3
"Why is the fight so boring?"
If you've played Yoshi's Island, you'd probably agree that most fights in that game are actually super easy. I stuck with that (since it is the miniboss theme, not the final boss). Also, you have no idea how hard it is to animate 60 full seconds of fighting. I already had to make a bunch of GIFs for Mare Do Well and Rainbow Dash, so anything more intense would've been horribly time consuming.
Anyways, I realllly hope this video isn't too boring, because that's what scared me the most about making this. Hope you enjoy my attempt at somewhat unique visuals :3
Also quick note about BGM. The first song has complete BGM. The second song, I attempted to mute the low's and mid's, so all you hear is percussion, and you can hear a bit of bgm in the trombone part. The last song has no BGM. I made the percussion for the last song in FL Studio.

Okay, seriously, Desktop Ponies are seriously fun to mess around with, so I hope you guys don't hate me for using them again lol. I'm going to try to refrain from using them again though. (and looking back on this video, i'm kind of annoyed i used them)
anyways, this one is a little bit of a mashup. The song actually comes from Ocarina of Time. All the dialogue in this video comes from Ocarina of Time. The background comes from LttP, and the sprites for Koume & Kotake are original sprites by Miles Pierre (the attack and death animations were edited by me, though). Plus, the desktop ponies are original sprites by all the lovely people at http://desktoppon...
Also, I used FLStudio again for this. I really like it! My only problem with this video is the text goes by a little bit fast.
I guess that's it.. Enjoy, and if you didn't like this, expect something (possibly) better for my next video.
