My Top Five DC Superheros:
1. Superman - Superman is comic book history. Without Superman, the first big comic book superhero, we might not have had Spider-Man, Batman, and the others. Due to the success of Superman, other comics companies pushed making superheroes and to that, Superman is owed a huge debt. Decades later, Superman is still going strong, with a movie in the works, multiple titles to choose from, and a hit TV show. The Man of Steel is certainly on top in terms of historical importance, abilities, and current popularity.
2. Batman - There is something about the dark brooding sense of Batman that intrigues people. Or maybe its Batman's alter-ego, billionaire Bruce Wayne, that people wish they had more in common with. Maybe the reason so many people identify with him is that Batman has no truly supernatural powers. Any one of us could be Batman. Whatever the case, Batman has struck a chord with fans around the world. The Dark Knight is hugely popular with a multiple hit movies and many different comic titles to choose from.
3. Wonder Woman - The World's most well-known female superhero has been through many different incarnations throughout history. She had a popular TV show, has her own comic book, and has a spot on the Justice League of America. Wonder Woman is a character that girls and women can look up to and be proud of. All told, Wonder Woman is one of comic books greats.
4. Green Lantern - The Green Lantern is a huge cornerstone of the DC universe. Green Lantern has had a huge resurgance as of late. The relaunch of the series, the re-establishing of the Corps, and the return of Hal Jordan has made Green Lantern shoot up onto the list of top superheroes. Who could ask for more? With a movie in the works, a spot on the Justice League, and multiple comics make Green Lantern a hot item.
5. Flash - The Fastest Man on the Planet. Flash is a cool superhero, whom we can all associate with. Cocky, a bit arrogant and always joking around, Flash is proud to be a true Superhero. Since the second incarnation of the Flash, he is generally considered the first hero of the Silver Age of comic books and the superhero has remained one of DC's most popular ever since.

My top five DC villians:
1.The Joker - The Joker is mad. Maybe that is what is so appealing about this character. Pain, morality, logical thinking, and every other normal human trait go out the window when one thinks of the Joker. Combine his sanity with his penchant ability with toxic chemicals, and you have the makings of an unpredictable madman that can bring those around him to their knees.
2.Lex Luthor - Genius, ex-president, criminal mastermind, businessman, sociopath. Superman's number one bad guy is right near the top of the list of the all-time best super villains. While Lex doesn't have magical powers, super strength, or any of the other things that make up the common super villain, he more than makes up this with his superior intellect and utter ruthlessness. Don't get on his bad side. If you do, you can bet you won't last long.
3.Darkseid - Darkseid has one goal, to rule the universe. Not a small task, but Darkseid only needs to discover the Anti Life Equation and he will succeed. His thirst for power is only matched by his super abilities. He has incredible strength and speed, and also possess a powerful Omega Beam with many untold powers. If Darkseid can find this Equation, that he believes is locked within the minds of earthlings, than our existence will be fearful indeed.
4.Ra's al Ghul - Ra's al Ghul has been an iconic Batman super villain. His purpose is to cleanse the earth and restore it to an eden-like state. The problem is, that most of humanity needs to die in the process. Ra's has lived for an incredibly long time, beating death with the use of his Lazarus Pit. His incredible intelligence and abilities in martial arts and swordsmanship makes Ra's a formidable opponent, worthy the title of super villain.
5.Doomsday - The killer of Superman.Doomsday was created and evolved through cloning an infant and having it killed over and over again in one of the harshest habitats in existence, prehistoric Krypton. In other words, he was bred to be nasty.
Many may complain that Doomsday was a marketing ploy but you gotta give him his due because he did kill Superman and killing the Man of Steel has to count for something. If you are a one-trick pony, killing the greatest superhero in comic book history is certainly a good place to start. He also defeated the entire Justice League, with one arm literally tied behind his back, before killing Superman.

My Favourite Superhero Team:
Justice League of America - The Justice League of America is comprised of the top superheroes of the DC universe. With a roster full of A-list powerhouses, the JLA is arguably the toughest superhero team in existence. The JLA has been a huge part of the DC universe and has been widely popular since its inception.
