World Wide Spies is one of the few Los Angeles bands on the vanguard of the "post-punk" and "new wave" revival, recently hatched out of the New York City club scene. They draw influences for their sound from the likes of Joy Division, The Cure, Simple Minds, and early U2. World Wide Spies brings strong beats, rhythms, melodic hooks, and a genuine energy to their music.
