The WWADOTC! is a particular male orientated
movement reigning from the Western Sydney
Territory during the early 80s. Originally called the "CLAP!" by a small group of men, they would settle their differences head on; literally. CLAPPERS! will run head first at each other "for fun" and to settle disputes. This was more than just an exhibition of male egos it was a sense of pride and acceptance, but it too soon died out by the early millennium.
In 2004 the CLAP! was revived with much
controversy by a new generation of faces and with a new set of rules. A new title was also born --the "WWADOTC!" (WHO WANTS A DOSE OF THE CLAP!.)
Most importantly the modernisation of the CLAP!
resulted in the commercialisation of the game and
reflected more of crass commercial sports industries .
THIS IS MY FIST! follows the key individuals of the new and old movements. Asking what happened and what might happen with its resurgence by this
new generation of the CLAP!.
