Web Vocalist of the Year is the only Online Global Singing competition of its kind ! Singers are welcome from all over the world to participate in this awesomely fun and exciting online singing competition.
Our Contestants are asked to perform: One, A Capella audition that is approximately 30-60 seconds in length, One, vocal with backing 30-60 seconds in length, and attach they're songs to the Audition links in the form of a Video Response. You CANNOT not use any vocal enhancements on your voice and we prefer all auditions have NO VISIBLE MIC PRESENT, JUST YOU IN THE "ROUGH." The Season 3 Auditions will begin June 1, 2009 so Please check back for updates. You can post auditions as soon as each audition video is up to post your videos to.
Our Global Contestants will be asked to sing for our judges and battle it out weekly to specific themes. This WILL DEFINITELY require an online commitment until the show is done. Each singer will compete to become The WVOTY Winner for Season 3. The determined winner of the finals round will be crowned the next Web Vocalist of the Year Winner for 2009!
The winner of Web Vocalist of the Year for 2007, Erica Roane, recieved the title of "Web Vocalist of the Year", a mic valued at $100.00 by Audio Tecnica (Pro 41) ,a web page designated for her on our WVOTY home page, a judging position on our panel for the 2008 WVOTY Season, and much,much more! Prizes for 2008 were increasingly better. An AT2020 mic valued at 200.00, a personal winner's circle webpage, and a spot on our Season 3 judge's panel.
WVOTY is ALWAYS in search of corporate sponsors. As WTOTY adds on new corporate sponsors and the competition grows..prizes will continue to get better. Best of all, this competition is FREE yes FREE to audition for, and all we ask is for your hard work, commitment, and constant support.
